Cardiac and Vascular Imaging:
Champion Vascular Care features a state of art non- invasive imaging center that provides high quality cardiac and vascular imaging services. Cardiac test such as EKG, echocardiogram, chemical and exercise stress tests and heart monitors are offered. Vascular center does variety of ultrasound imaging such as arterial and venous duplex imaging, arterial brachial index (ABI), carotid ultrasound, abdominal aortic ultrasound, renal and A-V fistula monitoring.

Vascular and Venous Interventions:
Champion Vascular Care offers quality and guideline directed management of vascular interventions. We offer same day outpatient management of peripheral vascular disease and venous diseases. Our commitment is to prevent amputation and to provide good quality of life for patients. Both superficial and deep vein treatments are offered for May Thurner Syndrome, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency.

Fibroid Treatment:
Champion vascular care is committed to provide pain free life for female suffering from fibroid disease. We perform non-surgical, minimally invasive treatment for uterine fibroids. Patients can return home the same day after treatment.

Home/Test Offered
Champion Vascular Care provides ultrasound exam in the comfort of the office setting. Most patients can obtain their ultrasound exam on the same day of the visit and walk-ins are also welcome.
Our ultrasound department follows the highest quality national standards for ultrasound performance and interpretation. This includes our physician who is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) and by Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT). Our staff obtains and maintains their credentials through the American Registry for Diagnostic Sonography (ARMDS).


Echocardiography is most commonly known as echo is a simple ultrasound test which produces pictures using sound waves. This helps to evaluate problems with muscles and valves in the heart. This is a safe and painless procedure.

Common reasons to get an echocardiogram are:- 

-A new heart murmur
-Recent heart attack
-Chest pain or breathing difficulty
-Any heart valve problems

During the test, a probe is placed on the chest with ultrasound gel. The probe produces ultrasound waves and the reflected waves are used to obtain the heart images.
There is no special preparation needed for the procedure.
Please wear loose clothing and you will be asked to remove the dress above the waist. You will then be draped with a sheet to keep you warm and comfortable. Study approximately takes 30 minutes.


The test is done to evaluate for any significant blockages in the heart arteries. You will have small sticky patches placed on your chest and which in turn is connected by the wires to a machine. This will evaluate the electrical activity of the heart. In some situations, doctor may add an echocardiogram or nuclear test to get pictures to the test.

3. EKG or ECG

EKG or ECG is called electrocardiogram, a test done to evaluate the electrical activity of the heart. During the test, you will be asked to lie on the table and sticky patches are placed on the chest. This is connected to the machine with wires. You need to lie still during the procedure so that they can obtain the electric activity of the heart. This is a painless test.

Nuclear stress test uses radioactive substances to identify the blood flow in the heart muscles. This test is combined with either tread mill test or a chemical test. There are two pictures taken during the procedure one at rest and another one after stress. During the day of the test you advised not to eat except for medications. The test usually takes at least 4 hours. This test will help the doctor to evaluate if there is any decreased blood flow to your heart.

This is a painless procedure where ultrasound waves are used to detect blockages in the arteries, direction of blood flow and also to identify blood clots.

This is a simple test using many blood pressure cuffs to check the ratio of the blood pressure in the ankle and arm. It is used to evaluate for the arterial blockages or poor circulation in the legs.
