Radhakrishnan Ramaraj, MD, FACC, FASE, FASNC, FSCAI, RPVI
Dr. Ramaraj is a well qualified, board certified, interventional cardiologist trained at prestigious institutions such as Yale University and Cedars Sinai Medical Center, UCLA. He has been treating patients with cardiovascular diseases for more than 10 years. His special interests are in peripheral arterial disease, chronic limb ischemia, fibroid treatment, varicose veins and deep venous thrombosis management.
Dr. Ramaraj has been trained by Dr. Bruce McLucas; an expert in uterine fibroid embolization affiliated with University of California, Los Angeles and got his vascular interpretation training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard University in Boston.
Dr. Ramaraj is an associate professor in medicine at Campbell University, North Carolina. He is a Fellow of Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI), it is a mark of excellence among interventional cardiologists. He is a registered physician in vascular interpretation (RPVI).
Eboni McCoy NP
Eboni McCoy is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with Champion Vascular Care. She closely collaborates with Dr. Ramaraj, a board-certified Cardiology/Endovascular Interventionist. Ms. McCoy obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Liberty University, in Lynchburg Virginia, in 2005. She completed her Master’s of Science in Nursing Education at the same school three years later while working as a Registered Nurse on a Diabetes/ Renal unit. After which, she worked as a travel nurse and also, as a teacher at Chamberlain College of Nursing and Hurst Review Services. Due to her passion for nursing, caring, and growth in knowledge, she pursued another Master’s of Science in Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with the focus of becoming an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. She is involved in the continuum of care with Champion Vascular Care clients and is a constant presence at the office and when needed in the hospital. Ms. McCoy is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and North Carolina Nurses Association. She resides in Raleigh and enjoys: exercising, spending time with friends and family, serving at her local church, and traveling.
